Dr. Dawn Queen is a board-certified dermatologist and hair loss specialist dedicated to helping patients achieve healthier skin and hair through evidence-based dermatologic care. Known for her thoughtful, patient-centered approach, Dr. Queen combines advanced clinical training with a deep commitment to education and research.
Originally from Cupertino, California, Dr. Queen has called New York City home for over a decade and has trained at some of the most prestigious medical institutions in the country.
Education and Academic Background
Dr. Queen completed her undergraduate studies at Columbia University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. During her time there, she was inducted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa honor society in recognition of her outstanding academic achievements.
She went on to attend Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons for medical school, where she was honored with induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society, one of the highest distinctions awarded to medical students in the United States.

Dr. Queen completed her dermatology residency at Columbia University Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year.
She is fellowship-trained in hair restoration and hair loss, with advanced expertise in diagnosing and treating various forms of alopecia. Her specialized training includes both medical and surgical approaches to hair loss management.
